I've been to my local dealership and am trying to decide what to get. Since they don't really have and standard tranny's, I have some time to kill and some thinking to do before it's time to buy. Hands down I'm interested in useful power and torque.
I live in an awesome area with lots of twisties so I like to be able to get in and out of the corners in a hurry. Judging by the specs, it looks like in order of weakest to the most powerful it goes the '07 , the '06 then obviously the 07 takes the cake.
It seems like the and the are running similar prices, so I'm considering the My concerns are obvious, that it's the first production of that car. I think I would rather have another 'free' year of CPO and a one year newer car not the baby of the generation by getting the Now, I've heard of people from the dealership that have 'chipped' the newer cars For , the 3 Series loses its coupe and convertible body styles, as the new 4 Series takes over these key segments.
The BMW 3 Series comes in four main variants -- i, i, d and i -- and the differences between the i and i are subtle but certainly noticeable. Based on the same chassis, the BMW i and i share nearly every exterior dimension.
They are The only dimensions that vary between the two are the front and rear track widths, and weight. The i's front and rear track widths are The i is the lighter of the two at 3, to 3, pounds, while the i checks in at 3, to 3, pounds. Both models are well-equipped, with features like fog lights, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and keyless entry. On the inside, the i and i are identical in terms of passenger accommodations, as they both have Originally Posted by l4wr3nc3.

With the Japanese motors, within one company, the engines are reused and remodeled to the n-th degree. I do not have that same experience with European cars. And it was a pretty direct swap, since one engine was simply a modified verison of the other.
